Biscuit Beef Bake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can lamb and beans
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can biscuit dough

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef with onion and garlic. remove from heat.
  • 2 stir in tomatoes, lamb and beans, tomato sauce, corn, chili powder, salt and pepper (do not add biscuits until baking).
  • 3 place in freezer bag. label and freeze.
  • 4 to serve: thaw. place in greased baking dish. bake uncovered at 400 for 30 minutes. cut each biscuit in 4 pieces. arrange on top of hot mixture. return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
