Beef Choufleur

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb boneless beef roast (1/2 inch squares)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small cauliflower head (separated)
  • 1 green bell pepper (3/4 inch pieces)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup green onion
  • 3 cups rice

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat in butter for about 5 minutes.
  • 2 add cauliflower, green pepper, soy sauce and garlic. stir lightly to coat vegetables with soy sauce. cover and simmer vegetables until barely tender (about 10 minutes).
  • 3 in a separate bowl blend cornstarch, sugar and broth. add to meat mixture with green onions.
  • 4 cook stirring constantly until thoroughly heated and sauce is thickened.
  • 5 serve over a bed of rice.
