Beef And Veggie Burrito Filling

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried chipotle powder
  • 3/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 brown the ground beef on medium-high heat.
  • 2 drain beef if needed.
  • 3 add onions, bell peppers, and tomato (time saver: use a frozen chopped pepper and onion mix).
  • 4 add salt, sugar, and spices. stir well.
  • 5 add water and allow to simmer for flavors to combine. cook until water evaporates.
  • 6 serve in tortilla wraps with your favorite toppings.
