Becky's Chili

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1/4 green pepper, diced
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans red beans or 2 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large dutch oven pan, brown ground beef, onions and celery together.
  • 2 next add all other ingredients.
  • 3 bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes.
