Bean Potpourri Crock Pot

Total Time: 6 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, undrained
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
  • 1 lb cross-cut beef shank
  • 1/2 lb smoked ham hock
  • 3 -4 ounces polish sausage or 3 -4 ounces knockwurst, thinly sliced
  • 2 1/2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in crock-pot, stir well.
  • 2 cover and cook on low for 8 to 16 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
