Bean Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 cups onions, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (17 ounce) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can wax beans, drained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 (16 ounce) can lamb and beans, undrained
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large dutch oven, brown beef over medium-high heat. drain fat.
  • 2 add onion and celery; cook until tender.
  • 3 stir in soup, tomato paste, and ketchup; simmer 15-20 minutes.
  • 4 spoon into a large kettle or roaster.
  • 5 add all remaining ingredients; stir well.
  • 6 bake uncovered, at 350f for 1 hour.
