Baked Beef Macaroni

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 (8 ounce) package mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (700 ml) bottle spaghetti tomato sauce with herbs (or basil, your favorite)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can kalamata olives, sliced
  • 1 (12 ounce) can canned corn, drain
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 cook macaroni in a pot of boiling water until denter to the bite. drain.
  • 3 in a skillet, heat oil. cook ground beef, onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
  • 4 remove from skillet and drain.
  • 5 transfer to an oven proof dish.
  • 6 fold in remaining ingredients except half the cheese.
  • 7 top with remaining mozarella.
  • 8 cook in oven until cheese has melted.
