Baked Beef & Italian Sausage Meatballs

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb sweet italian sausage, removed from casing
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup fine italian style breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl combine ground beef with italian sausage and mix well. add beaten egg, onion, salt, pepper and seasoned bread crumbs. mix together and shape into meatballs - about 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" round.
  • 2 place in a lightly greased 9" x 13" baking pan or casserole dish; bake, uncovered, at 375º for 30 to 35 minutes. drain off fat before serving.
