A+ Stuffed Bell Peppers

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 12 ounces whole kernel corn
  • 1/4 cup a.1. original sauce
  • 1 tablespoon a.1. original sauce
  • 6 large green peppers
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet, over medium heat, brown meat and cook onion until done.
  • 2 pour off drippings.
  • 3 stir in corn, 1 can tomato sauce, rice, 1/4 cup steak sauce, seasoning salt and pepper.
  • 4 set aside.
  • 5 in seperate bowl mix 1 can tomato sauce and 1 tbsp steak sauce.
  • 6 set aside.
  • 7 cut tops off green pepper.
  • 8 remove seeds and veins.
  • 9 spoon meat mixture into peppers.
  • 10 arrange in 9x9x92 inch baking pan.
  • 11 cover peppers with tomato/a-1 mixture.
  • 12 bake at 350 degrees f for 30 to 35 minutes or until green peppers are done.
  • 13 sprinkle with grated cheese 5 minutes before removing from oven, long enough for cheese to melt.
