Beef Pasta Bake

Ingredients

- 2 cups bow tie pasta, uncooked
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3 cups spaghetti sauce
- 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated and divided
- 1 diced green pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta just al dente, drain and set aside.
- 2 brown beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink; drain. add spaghetti sauce and garlic salt, simmer 10 minutes.
- 3 in a seperate bowl, combine cream cheese and milk. microwave 1-2 minutes on high, stirring once. whisk until blended. stir in sour cream, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and green pepper.
- 4 place cream cheese mixture in 9x9 pan. spread cooked pasta on top cream cheese mixture. top with beef mixture and remaining parmesan cheese.
- 5 bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes covered.
- 6 uncover, add mozzerella cheese and bake 5-10 more minutes, until bubbly. or wrap and put in freezer for up to 4 monthes, thaw and bake as directed.
