Beef Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 2 cups bow tie pasta, uncooked
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated and divided
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta just al dente, drain and set aside.
  • 2 brown beef, onion and garlic until beef is no longer pink; drain. add spaghetti sauce and garlic salt, simmer 10 minutes.
  • 3 in a seperate bowl, combine cream cheese and milk. microwave 1-2 minutes on high, stirring once. whisk until blended. stir in sour cream, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and green pepper.
  • 4 place cream cheese mixture in 9x9 pan. spread cooked pasta on top cream cheese mixture. top with beef mixture and remaining parmesan cheese.
  • 5 bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes covered.
  • 6 uncover, add mozzerella cheese and bake 5-10 more minutes, until bubbly. or wrap and put in freezer for up to 4 monthes, thaw and bake as directed.
