Beef Liver And Onions

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs liver
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- italian seasoning mix or pizza seasoning
- 1 large onion
- water
Recipe
- 1 liver and onions.
- 2 1½ lbs beef liver, cut bite-sized.
- 3 ½ cup flour.
- 4 2 tbs. oil.
- 5 1 tsp salt.
- 6 ¼ tsp pepper.
- 7 1 large onion, diced.
- 8 ¼ cup water.
- 9 italian spice or pizza seasoning.
- 10 remove skin and large veins from liver.
- 11 coat meat with flour.
- 12 heat oil in large skillet over moderate heat and brown meat on one side.
- 13 turn liver over, sprinkle with seasonings and cover with onions.
- 14 add water and cover pan tightly.
- 15 cook over low heat 20-30 minutes until liver is tender.
