Beef In Wine On Skewers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs beef
  • 2 yellow onions, peeled and quartered
  • 2 green peppers, seeded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup zinfandel
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cut the beef into 1 ¼ inch cubes. cut the vegetables into 1 inch squares.
  • 2 put all the ingredients in a large stainless steel bowl and marinate for about 2 hours, tossing occasionally.
  • 3 alternate the vegetables with meat on skewers.
  • 4 broil until lightly browned, about 15 minutes, turning once during the process.
