Beef Stew

Total Time: 5 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 6 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery ribs, sliced
  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
  • 8 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons minute tapioca (add more for thicker gravy)

Recipe

  • 1 do not brown meat.
  • 2 place all ingredients in a large roaster and cover.
  • 3 bake at 250 for five hours, stirring two or three times during cooking process.
