Beef Stew

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 4 medium red potatoes
  • 3 small onions
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 place beef and flour in a plastic baggie, shake.
  • 2 pour oil into a large dutch oven, heat.
  • 3 add beef cook until brown, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 add water and next 4 ingredients.
