Beef Stew--crock Pot

Total Time: 8 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs round steaks, cubed
  • flour (to coat steak)
  • salt and pepper (to coat steak)
  • 2 -3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 dash worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 -3 carrots, sliced
  • 5 medium new potatoes, quartered
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 whole clove
  • 3 cups water
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 dredge steak in flour, salt and pepper mixture; brown in oil.
  • 2 place in crock pot and add the remaining ingredients.
  • 3 cook for 8-10 hours on low.
