Beef Steaks With Mushroom Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 17 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4 beef tenderloin steaks, 1 in thick
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil and 2 t butter in large skillet.
  • 2 add steaks and cook on med-hi for 6-7 minutes per side.
  • 3 remove from heat and keep warm.
  • 4 to pan add remaining butter and mushrooms, cook and stir 3 minutes.
  • 5 add onions, saute 1 minute.
  • 6 add flour, salt and pepper, cook and stir 2 minutes.
  • 7 add broth slowly, stir until smooth.
  • 8 boil 1 minute.
  • 9 serve steaks with sauce on the side.
