Beef Sirloin Roast

Total Time: 9 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 8 hrs Cook Time: 1 hr 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • red wine (to marinate beef)
  • 2 lbs top sirloin roast
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 marinate meat in wine overnight or 8 hours. put broth, spices and 2 cups wine into a pot with meat. boil until cooked (mine took about an hour).
  • 2 place beef in a roasting pan in oven at 325°f for about 15-20 minutes (or until excess juices have drained from meat, and meat is slightly browned).
  • 3 do not over salt if adding.
