Baked Ziti

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb mostaccioli pasta (cooked as per box)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2-1 lb bulk sausage (optional)
- 16 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese
- 16 ounces mozzarella cheese (i use the brick and grate myself, i think that its way better than pre-packaged)
- 1 lb spaghetti sauce, depending on how much sauce you like (or more, i make my own)
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
Recipe
- 1 cook ground beef and sausage in pan and drain.
- 2 add ricotta cheese, parsley and ital. seasoning and mix well.
- 3 add cooked pasta, 1°c of grated mozzarella and sauce to your liking, leaving about a 1/2c. for the top before baking.
- 4 mix well and put into a 13 x 9 pan.
- 5 add a light layer of sauce on top so ziti does not burn.
- 6 cook at 350* for 30 minutes.
- 7 cover with remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- 8 enjoy!
