Biscuit Topped Hearty Steak Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 1/2 lbs top round steaks, cooked and cut into cubes
- 1 (9 ounce) package frozen baby carrots
- 1 (9 ounce) package frozen peas and pearl onions
- 1 large baking potato, cook and cubed
- 1 (18 ounce) jar home style beef gravy
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) can buttermilk biscuits
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 spray 2 quart casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 combine steak, frozen vegetables and potato in prepared dish. stir in gracy, thyme and pepper.
- 4 bake uncovered, 40 minutes. remove from oven, increase oven temperature to 400 degrees. top with bisquits and bake 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
