Biscuit Topped Hearty Steak Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs top round steaks, cooked and cut into cubes
  • 1 (9 ounce) package frozen baby carrots
  • 1 (9 ounce) package frozen peas and pearl onions
  • 1 large baking potato, cook and cubed
  • 1 (18 ounce) jar home style beef gravy
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) can buttermilk biscuits

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 spray 2 quart casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 3 combine steak, frozen vegetables and potato in prepared dish. stir in gracy, thyme and pepper.
  • 4 bake uncovered, 40 minutes. remove from oven, increase oven temperature to 400 degrees. top with bisquits and bake 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
