Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steaks
- 1 garlic clove, crushed and minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- cooked rice or noodles
Recipe
- 1 crush garlic and rub into steak.
- 2 in small bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper--rub onto steak then pound it with a meat tenderizer. cube steak.
- 3 melt butter or margarine in large pan. add steak and brown. once browned, add onion and cook until transparent.
- 4 add soup and mushrooms and stir well.
- 5 simmer covered over medium low heat for 45 minutes. add sour cream and heat through.
- 6 serve over ric eor noodles.
