Bea's Recipe For Basic Asian Soup

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups broth, vegetable, chicken or 3 cups beef
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • handful chinese noodles, broken up
  • 1/3 cup red pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 1/3 cup carrot, chopped
  • 1 large green onion, sliced
  • 3 heads baby bok choy, root removed
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon veg oil

Recipe

  • 1 bring to a boil the first 7 ingredients, turn heat down and simmer until veggies are almost done.
  • 2 if using meat, toss in now.
  • 3 add onion and bok choy.
  • 4 keep simmering until all veggies are cooked.
  • 5 add soy sauce and veg oil.
