Bacon And Beef Gravy

Ingredients

- 3 slices bacon, cubed
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef consomme
- 1 teaspoon dijon-style mustard
- 2 tablespoons catsup
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 prepare gravy by cooking bacon in a sauce pan until partially done.
- 2 add onions and saute for 5 miuntes.
- 3 pour in the beef consumne'.
- 4 bring to a boil.
- 5 mix water and corn starch together.
- 6 add corn starch mixture to sauce pan.
- 7 cook till mixture has thicken.
- 8 lower heat.
- 9 add mustard, salt and pepper to taste; stir in catsup.
- 10 serve over mashed potatoes, or noodles.
