Baked Pasta

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 3/4 cup marinara sauce
- 3/4 lb penne pasta
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- salt
- pepper
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated (for topping)
Recipe
- 1 boil 4 quarts of water.
- 2 heat large frying pan and add oil, beef, and garlic.
- 3 saute until meat is tender and drain excess fat.
- 4 add all remaining ingredients except the mozzarella and pasta.
- 5 simmer the mixture while pasta cooks in water until al dente.
- 6 drain pasta and mix it with the sauce.
- 7 pour all into a 3 quart baking dish and then top with mozzarella.
- 8 bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
